Lamentation 3:23
“They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.”
Every morning- His faithfulness shows. It rushes over me. Its hard for me to grasp this because I don’t deserve it, but I am overwhelmed by the faithfulness of His everlasting love He has for us. “Great is Your faithfulness” and so much so that I am unable to comprehend all of it. I used to struggle with mornings and getting up. I am reminded of Psalm 51:2, “Wash me clean from my guilt. Purify me from my sin.” We serve a King who does this for us day in and day out. Its hard to really comprehend all the freedom we really do have in Christ. So many people and even some Christians believe there is more freedom in the world, but I know from my life as an example there is more bondage in this world than anything else. I tried to find freedom in worldly things when all along all my freedom was found in Christ and He was right by my side the whole time. Every morning I get to start with a new plate and He doesn’t hold me to my past- I am made new in Him “every morning” now this is a hard thing to except, which for some reason you would think wouldn’t be because who doesn’t want to start fresh every morning, but the way the world works everyone is always holding you to the past, everyone has a past record but which God all the past records are swiped EVERY MORNING.

IBS- MARK 10:46-52 “ Now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging. Colossians 3:23 “And whatever you do, do good work hardily as for the Lord and not to men.” Christians often talk about working for God, going on a mission’s trip for God, doing the ministry for God. Its good to talk that way. It’s biblical. We are promised that through Christ we will “bear fruit for God” and we are called to “work heartily as for the Lord, and not for men.” So, we should do things for God. But what does that mean? Sometimes when we talk about doing something for someone, we mean that we are going to meet their needs. So, if we talked about doing something for the poor, we mean we are going to meet the needs of the poor. But is that what we mean when we talk about doing things for God? When the Bible calls us to do things for God, is it calling us to meet God’s needs? That’s impossible, because God has no needs.
